Having helped to play a good joke on me, my buddy Terry needed to be knocked down a peg, so some kidnappers and I had a whole lot of fun with him soon after Sun provided the computing muscle behind Pixar's movie Toy Story.

HOW TO PRACTICAL JOKE YOUR WAY TO THE TOP

My boss, Susan Lambert, masterminded the joke on me back in 1996, and I'd owed her for about a year and a half. As Susan very successfully climbed the ladder of management, I warned her that I would not forget to avenge the death of Gerald Stanley no matter how high up she got. I finally did in September 1997 while interviewing for a promotion with her. I don't recommend that anyone try this unless your boss is as good a sport as Susan is!
